Brazil's Dance Game App Trends in Q1 2021: A Sensor Tower Report

In the first quarter of 2021, Brazil's dance game app market saw varied performances among the top applications. Powered by Sensor Tower's detailed analytics, here's how each app fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop by Coco Play By TabTale, started the quarter with approximately 20 thousand downloads and ended with nearly 30 thousand. Weekly active users decreased from 130 thousand to 130 thousand in the same period, with a mid-quarter peak at around 140 thousand.

Just Dance Now by Ubisoft Entertainment experienced a decrease in downloads from about 30 thousand to 20 thousand. Active users also showed a downward trend, from 70 thousand to around 55 thousand.

My Town: Dance School Fun Game from My Town Games Ltd maintained a relatively stable download count, starting and ending the quarter with around 10 thousand, but with a mid-quarter spike to over 10 thousand. Active users saw a slight decrease from 15 thousand to around 15 thousand.

Ice Skating Ballerina Life, also from Coco Play By TabTale, saw downloads fall from approximately 15 thousand to 8 thousand. The active users showed a decrease from 30 thousand to around 20 thousand.

Lastly, Hip Hop Battle - Girls vs Boys, another Coco Play By TabTale creation, had a notable spike in downloads late in the quarter, jumping from a few thousand to 20 thousand, then settling at 8 thousand. The weekly active users also peaked in late March at around 60 thousand, up from the start of the quarter's 47 thousand.
